Who builds a low-volume robotics run of 50 to 500 units?

Anvol takes robotics orders with no minimum and quotes a run of 50 to 500 units for its own quantity. Our engineers in Shenzhen have built 19 robots on our case pages, from legged walkers to ROS 2 and underwater robots, and delivered a batch of 10 lidar robot cars at $150 per car plus $5,000 development. Our largest batch so far

Ten units, the lidar cars. None of our priced builds was made at 100 or more, so a 50 to 500 run is quoted for its own quantity, not from the prices above. The engineers' about-1,000-set figures on some case pages are estimates, not quotes.

How a run works

First article
One unit built on the partner line and checked against your approved prototype before the batch starts.
Fixtures and tests
Agreed with you before the run; every unit is tested before it is packed, with a test fixture when the quantity justifies one.
Records
Each unit's test recorded; a batch record with every batch; serial numbers and device IDs written per unit when you need them.
Part substitutions
Need your approval before the part is used.
Who builds it
Fabrication and assembly on partner lines, ordered and managed by Anvol. Your contract is with Anvol, Inc., not a factory.

Not included

Certification testing (FCC/CE)
Done by a test lab and quoted separately when a product needs it.
Shipping and import duties
Usually arranged by you once units leave the factory.
Changes outside the written scope
Re-quoted, with a new timeline, before work continues.
