Multi-channel IMU motion capture system
Reference figures from Anvol's engineers for a similar build: development $15,000–35,000, development time about 1 month. A customisable motion capture platform built on IMU sensors: small wearable units on straps, a multi-slot charging dock and fixtures, and 4 to 32 channels that stream over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ESP-NOW or Zigbee. We did the industrial and mechanical design (sensor, charger, fixtures, wearables), the hardware (IMU integration, Bluetooth expansion, power and charging), firmware for data acquisition, synchronisation and OTA, and server software for real-time data, visualisation, storage and an API. The IMU chip (6-axis or 9-axis) is chosen for accuracy, size and cost. Suited to biomechanics, sports analysis, VR / AR and robotics research.
