How we tell a factory from a trading company
- Registration
- The business licence on China's national enterprise credit system: does its scope say production and processing, or only sales and trade.
- Address
- Registered address, reported address and the plant you would visit are the same place, in an industrial area.
- Headcount
- Social-insurance headcount in the annual report against the size they claim.
- Engineers, not sales
- Tooling material, tolerances, process order and machine models for your part, answered by their engineer. Trading companies usually say they need to ask the factory.
- Live video
- In the top package: walk to the machine that would make your part, on camera, at a moment we pick.
Each check is reported as matches, does not match or could not check. We do not call a supplier certain.
Free first step
Already talking to a supplier? Send us its name or link and within 2 business days we email you what its Chinese public record shows: registered scope, address, insured headcount, and whether that points to a factory or a trading company. Free, and we do not contact the supplier.
No commissions
You pay us and only us. We take no fee, rebate or referral payment from any factory, we pass on their original quotes, and you contact and pay the factories directly.

- Ongoing order management and inspection
- After the shortlist, quoted separately if you want it. If you would rather we build the product for you, see prototypes and small batches.
- Certification testing (FCC/CE)
- Done by a test lab.
- Defense and export-controlled work
- We do not take ITAR, CUI or defense projects.
