We design and build your hardware
Our engineers in Shenzhen design your board, firmware and enclosure, source parts, prototype it and run production on partner factory lines. Send whatever you have — a sketch, a spec, a sample — and get back a DFM review and quote.
Products we designed and shipped ourselves
These are not client projects. Every product below was designed, prototyped and manufactured by our team — board layout, firmware, enclosure, sourcing, assembly, packaging.

24-channel logic analyzer
100 MHz sampling, 3.3–5 V input, sigrok/PulseView compatible. Our board, enclosure, silkscreen and retail carton — designed and produced in house.

Flat-frame underwater ROV
Sealed pressure housing, four thrusters, manipulator arm, tether and ground-station software. STM32 control board and firmware designed in house.

Swing-arm tracked robot
Welded and machined steel chassis, dual swing-arm tracks, PTZ camera and e-stop. Mechanical fabrication and electronics integrated as one build.

Lidar line-following car
Custom control board with OLED display, lidar obstacle avoidance, magnetic line tracking and a companion phone app. Board, firmware and app all ours.

Large ROS inspection platform
Mecanum wheels, sprung suspension, extruded-aluminium frame and acrylic body panels, ROS stack on top. Built at a size where tolerances and welding matter.

Wheel-legged inspection robot
Wheeled drive with leg-linkage posture control — ride height, shoulder shake, jump — plus a WiFi FPV camera for remote inspection.
Our GraftSense Port Dev Kit is used in lab courses at 10 universities and maker clubs at 25 primary schools. Our City Smart kit series ships with customer-specific branding, silkscreen and packaging.
Our projects are hardware-sponsored by DFRobot, Freenove, Waveshare, LILYGO and M5Stack.
From sketch to finished product
Send us what you have
A napkin sketch, a specification document, Gerber files, a competitor's product — whatever describes what you need built. If all you have is an idea, that works too.
DFM review and quote
We return a DFM review, bill of materials and quote. A simple two-layer board prototype: a few hundred dollars. Complex work quoted after a call. DFM review is free when we build it.
Prototype, approve, produce
We build prototypes, you sign off, then we run production and inspect on the partner line. No minimum order — a single unit is a job we take.

Work with us, not around us
We build hardware. You sell parts, run tests, make cables, or ship products. When your work touches ours, here is how we fit together.
Referral
Your customer picks a component and then hits an engineering wall. Send it to us. We handle schematic, PCB, firmware, prototype, pilot run. Your account stays yours. Confidentiality is default. Referral terms agreed before we start.
Handoff
You do testing, certification, cable, harness, displays, or mechanical. We do PCB, firmware, and prototype. We hand off clean files before your step or pick up after it.
Overflow
Your engineering team is full. A board revision, a variant, a second source, a prototype with no calendar slot. We run it under your specs. Your design stays yours.
We are an engineering firm with our own hardware team in Shenzhen. Our engineers design the board, firmware and enclosure, source the components, then coordinate and inspect production on partner factory lines. We are not a factory and not a broker — we do the engineering and manage the build.
Yes. Component sourcing is part of what we do, including older and hard-to-find chips. We source in Shenzhen and provide a full bill of materials with the quote.
No. A single prototype unit is a job we take. There is no minimum order quantity for prototyping or production.
You do. We sign an NDA before we open any file. The design, drawings and tooling belong to you.
Two options. One: you contract and pay the partner factory directly, and Anvol invoices a separate management fee — you see the factory quote line by line. Two: contract with Anvol's US entity and pay one price in USD. Both use milestone-based payments. We put the delivery date in writing before anything is ordered.
Tell us what you need built
Describe the product or send files. We come back with a DFM review and quote. Chris reads and answers every message himself.
